Over 20 years ago the National Spine Health Foundation (NSHF) began with a mission focused on education, research, and advocacy to ultimately improve spinal health for everyone.
Patients have always been at the heart of everything we do. And as the nation’s only patient-focused comprehensive spinal nonprofit, we have a responsibility to lead the industry through innovation.
With this in mind, we began to refresh the NSHF website a year ago, envisioning a place where educational resources can set in motion a tidal wave of hope for all who are suffering.
The NSHF team has spent countless hours carefully mapping how best to encourage and inspire patients and their support networks. With unwavering devotion, we’ve walked through every aspect of their experience – from the onset of pain to post-surgery recovery.
Now, after months of discussions, reviews, and revisions, our updated website is finally a reality. Here are a few changes we hope you’ll join us in celebrating:
Our new Symptom Explorer will help those experiencing back or neck pain prepare for informed conversations with their physicians. Spine-Talks videos have conveniently been brought into the site, ensuring patients can more easily access the world-class experts on our Medical and Scientific Board. And Spinal Champion stories are now on the forefront of our site where their testimonials of healing and recovery demonstrate that a path to recovery is possible.
In addition, you’ll find a redesigned look and feel, cleaner navigation, and a faster interface, optimized for both web and mobile users. A core tenet of our work is that cutting edge advancements shouldn’t just be for the elite; we are confident that our new site helps educate about the range of treatment options, thereby making innovation more accessible to all.
At the end of the day, each of these changes will carry us – and all those who visit our website – back to the heart of our mission: sharing knowledge and hope with patients.
We deeply thank you for your support over the last 20 years and look forward to the next phase of our growth. We are thrilled to continue walking alongside you in making spine health a national priority.
With gratitude,
Dr. Rita Roy,
CEO of NSHF
