Matthew Gornet, MD

Dr. Gornet is a Board Certified Spine Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of patients with low back and neck pain. A fellowship-trained specialist in spinal surgery, he has authored several published books, chapters, and research papers. He is considered a national leader in the development of dynamic stabilization, disc replacement, and “non-fusion” technology. Dr. Gornet attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and had surgical residencies at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, Dr. Gornet is a member of the North American Spine Society, Kostuik Society, International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, Orthopedic Research Society, and AOSpine.
