
Jason W. Savage, MD
Jason W. Savage, MD is an orthopaedic spine surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic. He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ (2006). Thereafter, he completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL (2011), and then spine surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2012). Dr. Savage currently serves as the director of the spine surgery fellowship and adult spinal deformity program at the Cleveland Clinic. He specializes in all aspects of spinal surgery and has a dedicated interest in adult spinal deformity surgery. He also has a genuine interest in the education and mentorship of future spine surgeons. Dr. Savage is very active in research and has lectured nationally and internationally on the peri- operative optimization of adult spinal deformity patients. He has authored numerous peer- reviewed research articles and book chapters and is an active member in the Cervical Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society, OA Spine, and North American Spine Society. Dr. Savage is the current President of the Lumbar Spine Research Society. Outside of being a surgeon, Dr. Savage enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Dina and two daughters, Giovanna, and Giuliana.
