Edward Dohring, MD
Dr. Edward Dohring has been a key figure in Arizona’s medical scene since 1993, focusing on industrial spine injuries. He founded the Spine Institute of Arizona and is renowned for his work in minimally invasive cervical and lumbar surgeries, including pioneering Arizona’s first artificial disc replacements.
A Dartmouth College and Yale Medical School alumnus, Dr. Dohring completed his spine training at the UVM Spine Institute of New England and a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center. He has educated numerous medical students and over 30 spine surgeons.
Dr. Dohring is the Spine Consultant for the San Francisco Giants and serves on the Editorial Board of THE SPINE JOURNAL. Recognized as a Phoenix Magazine ‘TOP DOC’ for seven years, he has also served as President of the North American Spine Society (NASS), promoting advanced spine care globally.
