Amer Samdani, MD

Dr. Samdani is a Pediatric Spine Specialist at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia. Since joining Shriners Children’s Philadelphia in 2005, he specialized in innovative, fusionless treatments for children with spine issues, including vertebral body tethering. He values working at Shriners Children’s, where the focus on quality care is unimpeded by financial considerations, providing immense job satisfaction and fulfillment.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Samdani is an active researcher and educator. He serves on the Harms Study Group’s executive committee and is a Pediatric Spine Study Group board member. Dr. Samdani has contributed extensively to his field with over 250 peer-reviewed articles and more than 100 invited lectures and Grand Rounds presentations.
