It’s Scoliosis Awareness Month and we are celebrating with some of our favorite Spinal Champions, including Ella T., a teenager with Scoliosis. Ella as an incredible story and wants to inspire other teens.
National Spine Health Foundation CEO, Dr. Rita Roy, sits down with this Spinal Champion Advocate. Ella wore a scoliosis brace throughout middle school for 20 hours a day and was just cleared to stop wearing her brace (in time for the summer and starting high school!)
As a young student, there were many things that Ella had to navigate on her own and she gets real about topics such as bullying and mental health. Tune in to hear Ella’s hopeful and honest perspective.

Scoliosis Awareness Month
At the Spine Health Foundation, we’re here for you when it comes to all issues of spine health. Scoliosis is a condition that affects 2-3% of the population and we are lucky enough to work with some of the best experts in the country.
As these doctors and experts continue to seek out the best treatments available, we want to ensure those looking for information are able to find what they need. It’s not alway easy to wade through the clutter online, so we wanted to simplify it for you.
We’ve got some incredible Spinal Champion stories from those with Scoliosis. Check out some of our favorites:
