Spine Health & Youth: What You Should Know

This month, we are focusing on spine health in children and adolescents. Many think of the elderly, or those with injury, when considering neck or back pain. But everyone should think of how their children can take care of their spine health as well.

From sports injuries to scoliosis and other ailments, children need prevention, healing, and recovery just like adults. There is so much that can be done to aid in this process. We published a few tips on preventing “text neck” and backpack posture, two of the most common issues with children — and this video offers more guidance.

Many professionals specialize in childhood spine health; find a physician or therapist to address your child’s specific needs.
